HEIMTSA

HEIMTSA (Health and Environment Integrated Methodology and Toolbox for Scenario Assessment) has brought together an international team of scientists in the areas of epidemiology, environmental science and biosciences, to collaborate on developing and applying new, integrated approaches to the assessment of environmental health risks and consequences, in support of European policy in transport, energy, agriculture, industry, household and waste treatment and disposal.

10th Urban Environment Symposium - Urban Futures for a Sustainable World

The 10th Urban Environment Symposium will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 9-11 2010. This symposium will provide a forum for recent R&D within a wide range of topics related to urban environment.

Coping with Uncertainty - A Multidisciplinary Research Conference on Risk Governance in the Baltic Sea will take place from 15.-17. November 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden. The aim of  this conference is to discuss implications of uncertainty at science-policy interfaces connected with environmental, social and economic risks in the Baltic Sea Region.

International Meeting on Environment & Health: Challenges for the Future

From 09-11 December 2009 the International Meeting on Environment and Health will take place at the Italian National Institute for Health in Rome. The intention of this meeting is to define emerging health and environmental problems and provide hints for preventive actions and management.

2nd joint European Conference on Public Health

In 2009, the second joint European Conference on Public Health will be organised  from 26.-28.11. in Lodz, Poland. This year's focus is put on human ecology and public health. 
HEIMTSA and INTARESE will contribute to a workshop on policy impact assessment.

PRONET final conference
The final conference of the PRONET project will take place 03.11.2009 in Brussels.

The PRONET project aimed at collecting examples of good practice in the fields of Indoor Environment and Transport, in relation to health. Case studies have been collected on different topics, that have been proven to be effective measures in reducing exposure or improving health. The results have been turned into fact sheets and will be disseminated in various ways.
