HEIMTSA

HEIMTSA (Health and Environment Integrated Methodology and Toolbox for Scenario Assessment) has brought together an international team of scientists in the areas of epidemiology, environmental science and biosciences, to collaborate on developing and applying new, integrated approaches to the assessment of environmental health risks and consequences, in support of European policy in transport, energy, agriculture, industry, household and waste treatment and disposal.

Workshop: 'Integrating new Advances in Exposure Science and Toxicity Testing: Next Steps'
The ICCA-LRI & JRC Workshop 2010  'Integrating new Advances in Exposure Science and Toxicity Testing: Next Steps' is going to take place 16-17 June 2010 in Stresa, Italy.
The workshop will focus on advanced approaches in the fields of exposure science and toxicity testing and their application to the design evaluation and health risk management of chemicals.

SFRR Annual Meeting and EEMS 40th Annual Meeting

The Society for Free Radical Research (SFRR) Meeting will hold its annual meeting from 12-15 September 2010. More information can be found HERE.

3rd European Public Health Conference
The conference will be organised from 10-13 November 2010 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
This event combines the 18th Annual EUPHA meeting and the 32nd annual meeting of ASPHER. The focus of this conference is put on Integrated Public Health.

Parma Declaration on Environment and Health
The 5th Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health has taken place 10-12 March 2010 in Parma, Italy. Being organised by WHO/Europe and hosted by Italy, it was the latest milestone in the European environment and health process, now in its twentieth year. With a focus on the protection of children's health in a changing environment, the Conference adopted the 'Parma Declaration on Environment and Health'; it solidifies the commitment to act on key H&E challenges such as climate change, children’s health, social inequalities, burden of diseases, and persistent chemicals/nanoparticles.
HENVINET Final Event: Approaching Complexities in Environment and Health
The final event of the HENVINET project on 'Approaching Complexities in Environment and Health' will be held 14-15 April 2010 in Brussels.

The aim of this conference is to bring together the research community and other stakeholders in the area of environmental health, to address the complexities faced in the often multidisciplinary research, and the issues encountered in communicating scientific results to decision makers.

‘Risk, Governance & Accountability’, 21-23 June 2010
The 2010 Society for Risk Analysis (SRA)-Europe conference will be held 21-23 June 2010 in London, UK, with the special theme ‘Risk, Governance & Accountability’. The venue will be hosted by King’s College London and aims to facilitate interaction among all actors in the field of risk: academics from across the disciplines, policy makers, the private sector, NGOs and other interest groups.
